BIOGRAPHY
Family
Rose currently resides in Alpine, CA with her husband Larry Urdahl. We have two children, a daughter Kimberly and son Eric. Last year our daughter graduated from Granite Hills High School in the Grossmont Union High School District and is now serving this great Country in Ft Huachuca, AZ. Our son Eric is an Senior Roadmaster Engineer with Burlington Northern Railroad.
Rose and her husband attend Skyline Church.
EDUCATION
- High School graduate
- Law major and Art minor at Colby Community College, Colby, Kansas.
- Attended Law School at Kansas for two years.
- Denver University. Graduated as Goldsmith and GIA certified.
Community Service
Wish grantor for Make A Wish Foundation-Rose was given the terminally ill cases due to her ability to relate to and get along with children.
- Board Member, Alpine Community Service.
- Board Member, Alpine Kiwanis Club.
- Vice Chair-Miracle Mile of Quarter with Kiwanis club for Children’s Hospital
- Founded Courage for Kids in Alpine Kiwanis Club in 1999. This is a program where bears are given to children and senior citizens in hospitals.
- Founded Courage of Mom’s 2002. This is program where mom’s who have lost their children are given angel bears.
- Art Teacher for seniors and kids
- Rose also has held several fundraisers for local community projects and other Events.
