ISSUES

1.  Massive budget cuts in Public education.

The number one issue facing our schools today is the massive budget cuts in Public Education, that if fully implemented will effect all students, parents and teachers in San Diego and the State of California.  Our children deserve the very best we can provide to insure that our country continues to remain the World leader and preserve the American Dream.  I will work very hard as your San Diego County Board of Education Member to fight irresponsible spending in San Diego and the State legislature.  To fight hard for our schools to receive the funds that are needed to accomplish our mission.

2.  Safe Schools and Quality of Education in all Schools.

We must have a safe environment for learning in all schools to provide a world-class education for all students in County operated programs and assist all districts and their Boards in the County to achieve excellence in education., especially in our lower performing schools.  I have dedicated my adult life to working with kids and helping them excel.   As a Board Member for the County Board of Education I will continue that dedication for all the kids of San Diego County because our children deserve the very best we can give.

3.  Financially troubled Districts.

Massive budget cuts in all districts will require diligence and leadership on the San Diego County Board of Education.  With my proven leadership skills I have the experience, vision and business acumen to provide solutions and guidance through these challenging times.
